Where Does This Go?

I was cleaning up the engine compartment on my '71 and noticed that the condensor wire was just hanging free. Does this car require a condensor as the ignitioin is transistorized. I would assume that it would connect to the coil (+or-). Thanks for your help.

LT-1s do have condensors that connect to the coil. By the way, my LT-1 is Mulsanne Blue too. I'd love to see a picture of yours.

If your car is still running, it's a pretty safe bet the wire isn't needed. I haven't converted to solidstate so I'm not sure what's involved but if memory serves, the wiring required for solidstate is less than for factory.
