I thought it might be interesting to see a few of the garages we keep our machines in. This is my 30'x35' home across the driveway from home. Cable T.V., AC, Stadium Seating (from the now demolished Riverfront Stadium in Cinci), all the comforts of home. Let's see some others....

Tom,

Very nice garage! I hope to have one like that someday.

Anyway, she's not a C5, but what the hell, she's an oldie, but goodie! ;)

VERY nice Rob!:cool Don't know about "oldie", but definitely a "goodie"! The garage looks very nice too.

She sleeps in either the 2 car garage on the left:

or we can fit 6 cars on the right:

Hi Z06 Tom-

Here is a link to pictures of my garage -
http://www.angelfire.com/ill/mqqn/garage.html

and then the lift install - just completed last Sunday...

The garage has heated floors, it's 19.5 x 35' with 14' ceiling (in the center), UCoatIt epoxy floors, hot/cold softened water, TV /Cable / and a dart machine.

I am in process on decorating the walls.

best regards -

Wow, what a perfect hideout. We have a garage on our main floor on one downstairs. The Vette sleeps on main floor. True story, my wife and I had two sets of matching cars; color equipment, etc. (Not Vettes) When I bought the Corvette, she loved the color but couldn't afford a Vette. She went out the very next day to try to match the Corvette's Mellennium Yellow paint. She bought a new Mazda Protege5 in Vivid Yellow. The match is almost perfect.

Which car is faster? LOL

HA! The way she drives that thing you'd think she had an LS6 in there!! Hey, now there's an idea! LOL.

This is almost embarassing......I have a 19' x 31' in the development stage so the Vettes have a place of their own....

Hi 68Roadster -

That's a cool picture - I like the vette butts lurking in there -

That makes a great place for your vettes -

Z_OH_6,

Very Cool! I thought about getting a bright yellow Mazda 3 for a while (until reality struck and I realized I couldn't afford it). I couldn't decide if it was too much yellow- but now I know that there can never be too much yellow. Looks good!
Are the walls yellow too?

Thanks mqqn but I'm getting awful tired of that boat being in the way....Vettes need room to breathe!
The 19'x31' is so I can get that other piece of fibreglass outta there!

I want my main garage to be as clean as Z_OH_6's, but a shrine to the 4 wheel fibreglass!

That little Mazda is a treat to drive. Really makes you appreciate the power we have in our Corvettes though. No, the walls are Navaho White but in that light they reflect the cars perhaps. Thanks for the kind words! :)

Man mqqn, that's a beautiful set up! Did you do the floor yourself? I want to do mine, but I've heard so many horror stories about epoxy lifting if it isn't done correctly.

Hi Z06 Tom -

It was not hard to apply - at least on new concrete - just make sure that when you mist the floor with water prior to applying your epoxy, that there are no areas that bead water - then you should be ok.

I have one very small spot where the epoxy has lifted - but it appears to be a spot where I did not get the floor prepped good enough (and of course that is right where my tire wants to sit normally...)

It might be worth stepping down to the rustoleum or sherwin-williams di it yourself kits - just to save the money - UCoatit and Musclegloss come at a premium...

thanks for the comments -

best regards -

We sleep right above her.

What a perfectly bucolic setting for horses or horsepower! Lovely place NC 50anny!

The biggest reason why I bought the house:
