Can anyone tell me where the switch is located that senses high coolant temperature and switches on the electric radiator fan?
Also, do you know at what tempurature it turns on?

its on the RH cylinder head(passenger side) between the back 2 spark plugs. The factory switch comes on at 230. I put one in my car that comes on at 205.

Dave,

How hard was this to change, and how much did it cost? Did it help keep things much cooler? Sorry to hijack thread; really interested.

Tatortot - I can only remember on one occasion when my cooling fan actually came on without the AC on. My car rarely gets over 200. I put it in for a little piece of mind. I got that switch kit from Mid-America several years ago. I believe it was about 25 bucks. If you would like, I can get you the part number for you. I'll be in Miami for for the rest of the week so I'll have to post it here when I get back this weekend.

Dave,

I appreciate the help. If you got it from Mid America I'll be able to find it. A piece of mind goes a long way when you're 100 miles away from home, in traffic, on a 95 degree day!
