hello...i have a front caliper that sticks and makes the car pull...took it apart, exercised it and it still does it once in a while, nothing i'm taking a chance on not working when i might really need it....anyone know of a good place to buy rebuilt stainless steel sleeved ones?...in northwest ohio so wouldn't mind picking them up...thanks

The Best Caliper you can buy in my opinion are from Vette Brakes. They started the stainless steel 4 micron finish "O" Ring thing. They do ther own calipers in house and don't farm them out.

I have been thru the mill with different vendors when it comes to calipers. Beleive me......Vette brakes are the best you can get. Replace both your front with them ..you won't be dissiponted..

Here's a link to there site....... http://www.vbandp.com/

How long since the brake flex hoses have been replaced? I've never seen a caliper "stick", but I've seen many cars with 30-year-old brake hoses that have swelled shut (they deteriorate from the inside out) that were the cause of erratic brake operation and dragging brakes. The flex hoses should be changed every ten years (they're dated on the outside), but most people ignore them - they just change pads occasionally, replace calipers when they start to leak, but never touch the flex hoses.

hi, all new stainless lines and hoses..seems to be stopping fine now, but i'm not trusting it...what do you think of silicone fluid?...is it all blue or purplish...i'm asking because i bled my fronts and it was normal fluid color...not sure the guy put silicone in in the first place
