Where to find C4 underhood performance plaques?

I went to order a "1996 LT4" underhood performance plaque from Corvette Central and they told me they do not have anymore and that they had some sort of problem with the supplier and they are looking around for another supplier.

Does anyone know of another source for these. I scanned the web sites of Mid America, Corvette America and Ecklers, but no luck. Thanks.

No, I have this one..this is the console performance plate. But, I appreciate the effort and the link.

The one I am looking for goes on the top center underside of the hood and says LT4 (they also had LT1 etc.). It was shown in last years Corvette Central catologue, but is now not on their web site. I quite liked it and thought they looked good and as I said they don't have a supplier for them right now. Maybe someone has one and could take a photo of it if they have time between spurts of spring driving. By the way, a very nice looking LT4 you've got there.

BTW...How big is it?

It's not too big; if you open your hood and looking right at the "top" end of the hood (windshield end) right in the center there is a triangular area (I'm doing this from memory as my Vette is home sleeping) and it slots right in that spot. I guess its about 4 inches by 3 inches. There was a good picture in the catologue. Anyway, if we found one, it would be cool, because you would raise up the clamshell hood and there it would be at the top center of the underside of the hood clearly saying "LT4". I think they were about $29. Anyway, yeah, let's both hunt around and report anything back on this thread. As I said there were others available too....LT1 etc. so hopefully some other C4 members will keep an eye out---maybe someone else can describe it better than me.

Here is the Corvette Central Catalog listing.

I found the catalog listing and picture. It is in the Corvette Central 1984-1996 parts and accessories catalog 4D on page 57 top right corner. I think they are they only people who ever sold them unfortunately.

I'll take a look in my catalog when I get home. I went through this same thing w/ the LT4 Emblem. Finally had some custom made for me through an auto decal shop in Muncie, IN.

Actually turned out great as the emblems were about a 1/4 of the price of the ones listed by Ecklers, Mid America etc...
