Looking to have my '94 painted with "reasonable" quality at a reasonable
price. Should I go DEALERSHIP or AUTO BODY/PAINT shop. My car is
mostly a daily driver and it sits outside. Thanks

Reasonable for one person may not be for another. Average cost to paint a Vette at a reputable bodyshop who understands Corvettes will run about 5K. I would never take Vette to a dealer for paint work. I'm sure it can be done cheaper but you only get what you pay for.
The best bet would be to investigate several options. Ask to see examples of their work. I know first hand that a fancy place with all the top end equipment can turn out just as bad a job as a guy doing it out of his shed. Once you see examples of their find the middle road price wise.

the key to a decent paint job is taking the car apart. Pulling trim off, headlite doors etc. The more stuff you pull apart the less tape edges there will be and the less edges to peel later.
Mines been repainted and needs it again. This time, I have to take it completely apart and have the whole car stripped down to the panels. Best est for my project was around $2500 ........IF I deliver the car disassembled...bumpers off, trim off all mouldings off.
If you can live with taped edges along the moulding and other seams....that may or may not show over time, then you can get a decent production shop (like Maaco) and do their top shelf paint thats going to run around $1500-1700....thats paint with a clear. The better warranty also...most important at a production shop...
