I do a lot of woodworking in my garage where I also keep my 2008 C6. I am looking for a light weight car cover to help keep sawdust from covering the car. What type would the group recommend. I do not plan on using the cover outside al all.

Thanks for any advice.

If it's only going to be used in the garage, then I'd go to CostCo and get one for $20. They're just as good as the others for one tenth the price.:thumb

I always use flannel lined cotton covers for indoor winter storage, they are soft and somewhat padded to afford maximum protection for the painted surface. I'm not sure if the sawdust issue would be effectively addressed, but as mentioned above the mid america chart should be helpful to find the best solution. Otherwise, I would be concerned about a cheap cover scratching the paint and personally would never use one of these on anything with a decent paintjob. My two cents!

I have a plain cotton/flannel lined cover on one of my Vettes. The other one has a soft lined fleece type and is Satin outside, which is awesome, but twice the price. I would go with the Satin type, because it would stop any dust from getting through. The less expensive cotton/flannel lined would allow dust to go through. In your situation I think you appreciate the better cover.
