1971 COUPE
I have a 1971 coupe with the base 350 and an LT-1 hood. Which aftermarket intake manifolds will fit under my hood. I would really like to try a performer rpm or air gap. Has anyone tried this combo?

I have a Edelbrock Performer on mine with the stock Q-Jet and a 14x3" open air cleaner and it fits under the stock hood on my 77.

intake

i dropped a crate in its got an edelbrock performer intake with a 600cfm carb edelbrock sig. series 14x3 fit well looks great

Weiand Stealth intake, 650 cfm Holley (though a 600 would work great as well), and a triangular Edelbrock 'Elite Series' air cleaner (with a K&N rechargeable filter). All fits snuggly under the stock hood... on a '78 at least.

HELLO, i have the edelbrock performer, holley 600cfm carb, and aftermarket 12in air cleaner. it fits good ,but the wingnut and stud are a close fit if not careful.

neither the air gap n'or the performer rpm will fit under the hood, . that is without cutting a speed hole in it for the filter.

If you are thinking of putting in a TPI - I just installed the TPIS Mini Ram Intake - ground to Port Match the ports on Dart Heads - it fit well under my stock hood...
