which MFG makes the best head unit alpine,kenwood,pioneer,sony?

iam in the process of replacing my bose gold stereo sysytem in my 94 vette, has anybody had any experence with any of the above memtioned head units so as to have a opinion as which of these head units they would perfer to put in their vette?
i keep hearing that ALPINE is heads + tails above the rest, true?

I've personally had excellent results with Blaupunkt equipment.

noone makes better audio for ANY environment.
you can say that's just my opinion. but it's the truth. find out for yourself. and it is in the same pricerange as all of the rest.

also, if you are intent on picking from that list, steer clear of sony and pioneer. they have definitely fallen behind in the car audio department.

Eclipse.

But in your list, I would say that yes, Alpine makes the best. I have a Kenwood Excelon 589 in my daily driver, and it's not bad. I know many Alpines that would blow it out of the water, though. I think the best I have heard is Eclipse. I am putting an Eclipse in my car when the time comes.

Last I heard AIWA is made in the same factory as SONY. I have heard excellent things about AIWA.

I myself use ALPINE and I love it!!!
