iam in the process of replaceing my entire Bose gold stereo system in my 94 C4, and i need some info on stereo replacement parts + locations for the new stereo.
1. where can i place my alpine 6 disc CD changer?
2. where can i place my 5chan amp it,s 16in long,9in wide.
3. will a infinity 693.5i 6x9 speaker fit the rear compartment or iam i stuck with installing a 6 1/2 rear speaker( infinity 63.5i)?
4. do i need to install a subwoofer for the best sound quality? i would like to save as much of my rear compartment space as possible
5. the front speakers will be infinity 5 1/4 kappa. question: for the best sound quality should i go with the kappa 52.5i 2 way or install a infinity 5 1\4 kappa component speakers.
6. besides a din kit replacement what else will i need to install my alpine 7894 head unit?
7. i will appericate any of your suggestions
thanks boonie

One place is the cubby hole on the passenger side in the rear.

Same place as the changer. I've got my amp mounted in there with no problems of over heating

3. will a infinity 693.5i 6x9 speaker fit the rear compartment or iam i stuck with installing a 6 1/2 rear speaker( infinity 63.5i)?

Just use the 6.5, it's a direct fit or close enough. Why do you think a 6x9 speaker is superior anyways?

4. do i need to install a subwoofer for the best sound quality? i would like to save as much of my rear compartment space as possible

Try your system without a sub first, see how it does. Some regular speakers can put out some decent bass.

5. the front speakers will be infinity 5 1/4 kappa. question: for the best sound quality should i go with the kappa 52.5i 2 way or install a infinity 5 1\4 kappa component speakers.

I'd go with components, I've got them front and rear in my car.

6. besides a din kit replacement what else will i need to install my alpine 7894 head unit?

Two ways to go about it, install a din headunit and a din EQ, or a din headunit with a cd storage bin which is a din size as well.

7. i will appericate any of your suggestions
thanks boonie
