I want to replace stock shifter and am considering the B&M Ripper. Any opinions on this or other shifters. It will be going into a "02 Z06. Thanks...Jim

Hi there,
Its all about shifter feel and what you like better.
One shifter may be better for one person than another.
Just remember that any aftermarket shifter will transmit more vibration to the handle from the driveline than the stock one.
I would suggest driving a car with a different shifter to make sure you like it.
There are many out there, and feel differs with model.

Jim,

Do yourself a favor, buy and install a Hurst Billet Plus shifter. From my experience there are none better, and few as good.

I use the kirbain shifter....I don't know the difference because we all drive the kirbain kit....:L
