which vacumn line is this????

A single line coming out of the firewall over on the pass side kind of underneath the hood security switch? I cant remember after all this time......wheres it go to also? Cant find it on any diagrams......

A thin white vacuum line, probably tan or cream by this point, goes to the hot water cut off switch in the heater line.

Bob, it actually is all black about 1/4 in rubbber 1/8 inner dia and it comes ot of the firewall toward the front of the vehicle about left center of the middle of the firewall passenger side to driver side

shoot it didnt work....it comes out under the hood switch about 3 inches down......

The computer takes out all the extra spaces - use periods or dashes as placeholders to push things to the right where you want them. I had to do the same thing on my Keisler post.

Thanks Bob, it has a cone shaped grommet that goes around it where it goes into the firewall.....total length of the line is approx 16 inches....

The only thing I have on that side in that area is the line which, while it looks like a vacuum line, is the water for the w/s wipers. It is up high, goes through the firewall into the w/c wiper tray. The other way goes toward the driver's side of the car and T's, with one side going through the firewall and the other going down to the water reservoir.

It's not a vacuum line at all, it's a windshield washer hose coming from the pump.

ok I see the w/s washer hose going through the firewall below the hood sec switch, I jsut put new ones in ....this hose Im talking about is about 3 inches lower and to the right (towards the d/s side) there is an angled part of the firewall and this hose coomes out of that part. It is located right under the strap that is riveted to the firewall left of the w/s washer pump and motor...that help any more

"Right" is the passenger side, and "Left" is the driver's side....

If it's black with a yellow stripe, it's the vacuum supply to the HVAC controls in the console
