You can own only one vette also, hypothetically here, even if you have extra $$.

Which would you rather have here? Your c4 that you own now (or maybe c1,2,3,5, whichever you own now), with no/low miles on it, like it was new, or a new vette?

Just for the sake of the question, throw in that GM would standing behind your 'old' one, just like a new one...

I would love to own any early vette if it was still backed by gm. I guess my pick would be a c2, maybe 1967. although I am happy with my c6 and it is backed by gm.

Well, --Let's see, I've had a '61, a '67, an '81 and a '96. I've driven the C5 and the C6 and I don't fit in them! I suppose the '96 LT4 was the favorite. I can't imagine driving a new ZR-1, the '96 LT4 is 10 times more capable than I am. Sometimes that car scares me, I would probably wet my pants in the ZR-1!

C6 then c5 to be used as a daily driver.
C2 68-72 chrome bumper to play with.

What's your desire?? What are you going to do with it??
Older oned are wonderful works of mechanical art but the new ones are cheap reliable fun performance machines meant to drive.

New one for me! My uncle had a '74 stingray was the coolest vette. But giving the technology today a new 2011 all the way!:upthumbs

All things being equal.....it would be a 66 big block roadster....my dream car. Even back when I had my 64 coupe.

A new one, they are the fastest and best ever built, at least they should be. Make mine a ZR1. :beer

If I had to go older, 1969 Corvette with the 427 ZL1 motor, 2 exist. Ultimate factory sports car from the old school era.

Then again a 57 Fuelie with the closer ratio 4 speed, RPO 684?, and 4.11's would be really cool. I have a reprint of a Road and Track road test of one from 57 ran 14.3 in the 1/4 mile back in the day. WOW!!!

Dang, I hate questions like this because to a certain extent I love them all. Its hard to choose, usually ones finances choose for you.

I have both a 69 and a 93. If I could (and I know it can be done with enough $$) I would very happy to have the comfort, power and handling of the C4 in the C3 body.

I love my '89 and so I'd never give it up. But I do have an eye for a late model Z06... love to add that to the stable. Also if the right car presented itself, I'd take a crack at a C3 coupe.

I have a 73 roadster, 356k on the clock, I've rebuilt most of it twice, painted it twice, always red, but not the original red. It gets more attention than my wife's 81, but I have to admit, that it's not nearly as much fun to drive as my 93 ruby 6 speed.

...is there a "D" option?:ugh

as in, all of the above !

I know the C-4 inside and out, so another would be tempting. Familiar but different. I'd feel like I was cheating on my 87 if I got another one !

I absolutely love the technology in the new cars...so I'd likely need therapy if confronted with the choice..

2011 ZR-1 Silver justification for powerball. :rotfl

C4's are my favorite. I love my '96 CE LT4 but I also love my '94 roadster, but I wouldn't mind a '95 ZR1. :D

I'm in awe and love with my '94 ZR-1. I'll need to get over that b4 even considering anything NEW

bumped here; question re-worded for clarity...

It's really a toss up for me. I love my c4, but I really have a thing for the wild styling of the C3, and have been looking for one to buy. Right now I say my '89, but ask me again in a year:L

My C4 is one great ride, but I would have to say that a C3 was on the top of my shopping list....any year would do ;)

Got it now.........

Tom I had a 66 427 - 390 hp roadster (new) for 14 years). I still love that car and wish I had never sold it. It is my dream car also as I dream about it more than any other Corvette I've owned or currently own. However, my 2008 roadster is the best Corvette I've ever owned, so I would choose it over the 66, but not by much. I love all three of the Corvettes I currently own, so I am happy with them and am not looking for a new one, or two, or three. I do not like the idea of only owning one.
