Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

Who knows this car?

You might want to check with the GrandSportRegistry.com. The forum there is open to non-GS owners. These people are into nothing but GS's and may have answers for you.

thanks, i will... I am worried about buying, then finding out the car is a lemon or something worse. I am hoping it is cheap because it has the ugly hood.

92k doesn't bother me much... it is still 1 of 1000, and a good looking car (minus the huge hood). I am betting mid teens will buy it, which isn't bad for any LT4 car, it just seems like something is wrong with this thing, or it would have sold years ago (or if it sold, why does it keep coming back up for sale?)

I searched the grandsport registry forums, and no word was on this car. I did not post a question over there yet though.

I just checked, it closed at $12,500.02 and it did not meet the reserve price.

Makes a very interesting situation, wonder why it doesn't sell?

I seem to remember a discussion on the GSR awhile back about this very car. If I remember correctly, there were some issues with the car. It might have been in a wreck or something like it.

I have to question anyone that cant get their numbers right on the Ebay add anyway. There were 1000 GS produced. And if he was talking about coupes only, there were still 810. Not the 640 the add says.

I think the guy narrowed it down to GS coupes with Black interior... I couldn't find anything on the gs registry about it, but the search feature on their forums is not very good... anyway, I decided to be wary of this one, and didn't bid. I think the soon to be wife would be pretty mad at me if I bought almost the same car that I just sold, only with more miles and in different colors. Still trying to find a good convertible.... hopefully it won't be long!

Lets not forget about the wing on the back.............BTW, I happen to like Black int.:cool :cool :cool

well, concidering I am $15,000.into a 75 rebuild, and havent heard the rebuilt motor run yet,I cannot see this as a good thing, did you notice that there is no mention of "ALL NEW BRAKES", or anything like that.a vette with two low tires still "holds the road".and they will "run very strong"with bad plugs.
I'm afraid i would want the serial #s before buying, maybe a history or something(previous owners)etc.this really looks too good, even if you have to buy a new hood and paint the car back to original. just my 2 cents worth , mike

The car has been re-listed... I looked because of the mention of a spoiler. In the first listing the pics show no spoiler, in the second there are new pics with a spoiler. this car just seems to get more strange by the day.
