i plan on buying one as soon as i return from being deployed to afghanistan, the only problem i see is deciding what color to get. they discontinued the magnetic red metallic, now i have no idea what i want....such decisions....

Not me...........my heart is still set on a ZR-1 and as soon as my son's cavalier is paid for I'll start my search....:) Of course all this becomes moot if I hit the lottery. ;LOL

Someone somewhere is ordering a yellow one with a cashmere interior and all available options.

He (or she) may not know it yet, but I'll be the car's second owner. . . ;)

As soon as I come up with the money, which could probably be never!:L:L:L

I'm holding back till I see the put the DSG type tranny in the car....2008? If I buy a C6 Z06 and then the next year they finally come out with this tranny I'll be really ****ed....
I'm into this technological advance bigtime....so...

I'd rather get one with dual clutch sequentials and dig up the extra cash hiding someplace (magically appearing so to speak)........but if GM doesn't see fit to install this new transmission technology on the 08/09 Z then with the care most corvette owners give there cars.....and.......the residuals on the C6 Z06 at the end of a three year lease floating around.... a very reasonable....42 to 45 grand..

That might be the hot ticket....

Just an fyi..

have deposit on a black one - to match my black 1963 Z06 and my black 2001 Z06

I'm sure I won't get "THE CALL" to place my order for at least 8-9 months :cry ,but I'm #56 on the Maxie-Price Chevrolet (Loganville, Georgia) list ....

When I do get the call, I'm 99.9% sure it'll be a Machine Silver Metallic, with the gray accented ebony seats and loaded with all the toys (2LZ with NAV).

IF I were to receive the call today, I'd take a "pass" on GM's "polished wheels" as a great many of the C6 owners are really screaming about the quality of the GM "polished wheels".

Me....Me....Me I want one too!!

Not me......don't want to give up the wind in my hair or have to drop back down on hp and torque :L
