I'm an old San Jose resident so I know when I hear the news here to take it with a grain or two of salt.

Many coupe owners may be selling for a convertible or the upcoming Z06...

Sometimes, people just live beyond their means. My neighborhood is kind of like that. There are some new houses around the block and people move in. They don't even has grass on their lawns!:L There are unforseen expenses with everything, even a car. Maybe they need something with a back seat, maybe they couldn't afford insurance along with the car payments. Maybe they just didn't like the car for whatever reason.

Actually, there are many different Callaways that have been made over the years - not sure what direction you are going here but, I'll bite...

Having ridden / driven a C6 stock and modified both, I can tell you that it is a very impressive car however, my original point was that when the C6 came out, the coupe was it - all that one could run right out and buy...

Now w/ vert's on the market and the new Z06 soon to be, I am certain the reason C6's are hitting the used market is they are moving on for open roofs or more power from the General

Now, back to your original statment - the Callaway C6 has already eclipsed the 505hp Chevy Corvette Z06 for this year coming up - you can read all about that car on the pages of Corvette Enthusiast Magazine and Vette Magazine in both the current & back issues alike :cool
