I believe that the rocker panels changed in 1970 and are the same for 70-77? Iirc, 68 & 69 rockers are unique to those two years.

I believe you are right I think that the rockers were fiberglass in 68 and 69 and two piece and then switched to the single aluminum panel in 1970. I have heard that the 70 aluminum will fit the 69 but not the other way around also

70 rocker panels will fit a 69.

The 68/69 have a fiberglass bottom piece with a metal top trim piece.
