will 85 4+3 work in 84

I was told today that the OD in my 84 is on it's way out. I can get an 85 4+3 will it work in my Vet?

if you are not sure about this overdrive look it up at www.5speeds.com/nash.htm
there are parts there for repair or maybe they can tell you if it will fit, i seem to think it will but check first.

The 84 has a few things that the 85 is missing, such as a 1st gear switch.
