First Thread indicated:
"I would point at you and hope you also had a spoiler/wing installed....."
This premise clearly setup my next thread which later had to be corrected because someone couldn't compute i.e., fill in the rest of the sentence.
"By the way unless you are driving a C5-R there shouldn't be a wing installed on a Corvette. I am anti-Greenwood"
So if I am obviously talking about spoilers/wings, and commenting (indirectly) about how ugly as sin they are on Corvettes (C5-R exception), how in the world would you all the sudden assume I am diminishing the character of another human being.
That is the most atrocious thing I have ever heard. Oh, please. Let's not go drama queen on me. One would have to live a rather sheltered life to seriously put this in a "most atrocious" category. Once you get out of college and enter the real world (ie: taxes and responsibility), you'll get some perspective.
Think about it…
If someone were to say I don’t like the Lingenfelter Corvettes, does that translate into them saying, “I am anti-John Lingenfelter,” No It certainly doesn’t. It just means they are anti-something-to-do-with-his-products.
Your argument makes no sense. To mirror your original statement, you would have to leave off the Corvette modifier in your first Lingenfelter statement. Different meaning entirely. (Hopefully you're not an English major.)
Your rebuttal is BS, and you knew I was talking about the ugly as sin Greenwood packages and not the character of these human beings.
If you would like to read about the history of John and Burt Greenwood (the human beings), Check out the following link:
Greenwood Corvette - Profiles
Have read about him for years. He was one of my racing heroes as a kid. That's why I wasn't impressed about your original comment.
P.S.
“John Greenwood did more for Corvette racing and respectibility around the world than that guy could ever hope to do.”
Don’t jump to conclusions about people you don’t know (
respectively), there is no need to be bitter and mean.
