Will You Be In Line...

Like Catbert I also have had two first year Corvettes with no issues at all. :D I still have the 2005 and it has been flawless. :thumb Haven't even had to take the car back for the roof recall. But I do have some reservations about the first year C7 based on the completely new engine, the direct injection and new engine plumbing I don't think I would jump in on an early C7. :ohnoes I'd be too concerned about durability of the engine, particularly issues that could arise from lubrication problems on a completely new engine design. I hope my judgement outweighs my emotions on this because I still want to jump in!!:beer

Go ahead !!!!!! As the beer vendor at Chase Field says, "you know you want one." :L

I might be in line, but it won't be at the head of the line or close to it.
I, too, will wait for some bugs to be identified and fixed. :w

Yep, I'm in line, but GM needs to pay back their "loan" first, then we'll talk.

I've had at least one of every generation mostly first year and the '63 was the only bad one of the lot. I still have one that locks you in unless you have the thing in reverse. Still have to have a preflight warning to new riders to use the emergency handles on the floor if we crash this thing. :eyerole

As I understand it, there is no loan at this point. Uncle took stock that they can sell at any time. They are obviously waiting for share price to go higher to maximize the return.

Sounds like a good way to buy a new Corvette, I'll just pay for it when my GM stock gets higher. ;LOL

The whole car would have to be so good that I no longer cared about how ugly it is. There never has been such a car, so...no.
