Not criticizing my cattle...replaced the A and F note horns with AC Delco stock and they are LOUD compared to the worn out originals. The idiots will hear these. I love my car but sometimes GM doesn't get it right the first time.

I did the same thing on mine only replaced the stockers with the newer version and the car now sounds like it has some muscle compared to those dinky little horns. I think the original design was taken from the Barbie corvette.

Now I don't have to rev the engine at people but I still do anyway :D

Were the originals trying to be PC and not disturb anyone? The new ones are painful.

So what kind of aftermarket horn did you all get, how much was it, and how easy an install??

Advance Auto Parts or Chevy dealer has these AC Delco OE replacements with the right electrical hookups. There's a high note A and low note F, both for $90 Ouch.

Aftermarket Highway Blasters are $30 at Advance that look the same but you have to cut the wires into those.

The stockers are twice as loud as the originals and are GM. One bolt holds them on, and it's the easiest thing you can do on this car. They say Made in France. French horns. Does that mean they won't work in a threatening situation? We'll see........
