Just installed new rubber and now the windows need adjusting. Anyone who has a AIM manual or Shop Manual (I don't have one :hb} can you please e-mail me the section on window installation and adjustments. When I roll the windows up they don't seat properly.

Thanks

Thanks Bobchad, believe it or not, I stopped by "The Last Detail" this afternoon on the way home "Tifton" and picked up the AIM for my 81. I haven't had a chance to look through it completely but plan to do so. Thanks for your help.

I left the doors and windows shut up tight to help the seal seat....anyway, the guys at the Last Detail helped out. The one thing I noticed is that the rear of the door, where you actually screw in the metal portion of the new rubber, the plate seems to be just a bit to long. So, I have to drill a new hole to accomodate the difference. Everything else seems to be falling into place.

Wiley,

I found this link. http://www.71corvette.com/wt.html

It's necessary to download the jpg's and using a picture viewer make them a little bigger for ease of reading. Its the first descriptions I saw that explained what each of the adjustments did.

Using it I was able to get my window to square up so that it doesn't hit the back frame anymore. Took about 10 minutes.

Bob, thanks. I downloaded them and will take a look at the photo's. I'll let you know how it goes.
