window in convertible top

I have a 2000 convertible, and the rear window detached from the top today suddenly. I've heard this is a problem with c5's. Also every body I call tells me I have to replace the whole top. The car only has 40,000 miles on it and the top is perfect. Anyone have a solution or do I have to bite the bullet?Thanks, Ed.

Welcome to the CAC. Sorry to hear about YOUR convertible blues and sorry to say that once the glass seperates from the top, the only option I know of is replacement. I see U.P.John already posted a link to my thread on the subject.
