My driver's side window "indexes" down but does not return to the fully closed position. Anyone else have/seen/heard of this problem?

Also, what is the coolant temp supposed to be at full operating temp?

Thanks

You need to index the windows. Roll them up and down completely 3 time in a row. The operating temp should be about 210 degrees. MIne runs that hot summer or winter once it is warmed up. My oil temp is ussually 225.

Thanks. Did the re-indexing and it solved the problem. The temp issue came up with me because my C5 operating temp was 196 degrees and my C6 is running aroung 206-210.

I am having the same problem and tried the three ups and downs. No change. Any one else have a suggestion. I am averse to reading the owners manual (a natural trait) but know that the answer is there somewhere.

I decided to check the on-line owners manual on the subject after all. Here is what I found:

Power Window Initialize
After a power reconnect such as battery replacement, the
window index-up feature will not function until the system
is initialized. Once power is restored, do the following:
1. Close the door.
2. Raise the window by pulling up the switch.
3. Hold the up switch for three seconds after the
window is closed. Release the switch.
4. Hold the up switch again for three seconds and
release.
