I'm reinstalling the windows, both vent and door in my 64 (the body shop removed them), now my question is what holds the glass in place? Is it just pressed into the rail at the bottom or glued or what? Thanks!

The bottom of the door glass is retained in the sash channel with "window setting tape"; any auto glass shop should have it, and Corvette Central sells it. I'd take the glass and sash to a glass shop, as it comes in several different thicknesses.

I have some

rowingone, if you can't find any locally, I have both thicknesses in bulk, that I purchased from the " General" years ago. 10$ + a few dollars for the stamps, will get you enough to do the four pieces of glass. E-me at robert.pelland@cgocable if you need help.
