I have a repo blank window sticker for my 66 roadster. I want to make a sample for car shows but dont have a sample to view to get a general format.

Does anyone have an example they can post????? Would like it to be for a 66 if possible
thanks

Here is one for my 1967.

I have mine which is in excellent shape & framed it with a standard photo frame.
I place it for shows at the Gas tank filler with the door open.

Yes, mine is in $CDN but what the exchange rate was in 1967??

The rate flucuated between US$1.0834 (high point) to US$1.0725 (low point) per Canadian dollar. Yes, in those days, the Canuck buck was worth more than the greenback.

However, the exchange rate is not the sole arbiter of vehicle pricing. General Motors has consistently priced cars lower in Canada than in the U.S., even allowing for the rate of exchange.

I remember the Diefenbaker days. So adjust those prices down for $US. But they do give a good indication. I believe the original poster was more concerned with format than dollar figures.

BTW, Bob, my 1967 is in the paint shop. Should be fun for several months. They wanted 8 hours to repair the rear exhaust valence. It is pretty shabby I must admit. But being a cheapskate, I said no way for that labour on an old panel. Hustled one up today from ACI (thanks Gary, he looked around for me). Nice folks. The other various vendors said no way in the short term?? I tried five, no dice. I appreciate his brand of service!

You can make one HERE and pass them out if you like.

am i missing something? The menu for the year of the car only goes back to 1968. you can only create window stickers for the C3's and newer. No C1's or C2's.

Hey, Thanks everyone... this is what I was looking for. GREAT forum
Have a great weekend

1966 window sticker with "AS" rear end.

Looking at these window stickers, I started to wonder what should my sticker look like. (L79, M20)
I have one question. On my 1966 Coupe I have a "AS" coded rear end. (AS101165) this is a 3.70 Non-Posi. How should this look on the window sticker? (This is different from the base 3.36 rear end.)

The published '66 powertrain chart shows the 3.70 non-Posi only available as the standard axle with L-79 and M-21; not available with any other small-block combination.

1966 Window Sticker examples

Looking at a few of these window sticker, I noticed something. Yes, I know that the '67's are repros. sticker, But the one '66 that looks old and in bad shape makes me wonder. Is this "Original"? Way isn't the last six digits of the VIN stamped with a different size/font? What's correct? Wasn't all window stickers stamped this way? (The last six being different)
We need MORE examples of ORIGINAL stickers!! Thanks

Our research has proven conclusively that all original factory-issued Corvette price stickers from '63 through at least '69 had the last six digits of the VIN rubber-stamped in the Broadcast Booth at the end of the Final Line, as the sticker, Car Shipper, and several other documents were computer-printed at the same time, long before the car had its VIN assigned and affixed at the beginning of the Trim Line (the other underlying documents printed at the same time as the price sticker had the VIN added manually with an IBM Selectric typewriter in the same booth). If the price sticker was damaged or lost during shipping or after the car was delivered to the dealer, or the car was transferred from one dealer to another prior to sale, the Zone Offices created a new sticker which had all the sticker information typed and sent it to the dealer, as it was illegal to display or to sell a car without the sticker in the window.
