if not done correctly you will have lots of distorsion

Not worth the effort...I tried it...windshields arn't that expencive

I used the Eastwood kit on one of my other cars. The rule of thumb is if you can catch your fingernail in the scratch the kit won't help much but it does a decent job on superficial scratches. Hope that helps some.
