Windshield wiper malfunction 97 C-5?

Anyone else ever encounter this? The wipers want to go on with the wiper control set to the off position. For about 30 minutes they ran on their own and wouldn't turn off and now they just move as if they are going to go on but then don't ... anyone?

HI there,
Sounds like moisture getting into the motor assembly.
Take care and look at the motor assembly under the cowl.
YOu could have water in the motor or the parking arm is broken.

makes sense .... it happened just after the car wash ... d'oh ...
