Windshield Wiper Motor Service

My 81 windshield wiper motor (original) has begun to show it age and runs very slow if at all. In the past operational issues where resolved by relubing all the arm / linkage and pivot points. This time, no such luck; I suspect the motor will need either dis-assembly / repair or replacement. Question to all is has anyone worked on their wiper motors? Would appreciate any input!
