So my windshield wipers do not work. I checked the fuse, it was good. I know the circuit gets power because at some point someone tapped that line to run an electric cooling fan over the rad. It works. The wipers worked when I bought the car. Soon after though, they stopped. I thought possibly the switch was bad, so I picked up a new one, and installed it. They still don't work. Any ideas where to start from here? Thanks.

Make sure the motor is grounded, and even more importantly, make sure the switch itself and the bezel it attaches to is grounded; the motor gets 12V any time the key is on, but all the motor functions are controlled by grounding its circuits AT THE SWITCH - if the switch isn't grounded, nothing works.

Thanks John! Shouldn't I start by beating my forehead on the dash pad first though??
