welcome to the CAC, Bill.

I don't remember seeing any threads recently about that problem, but someone else may come along with some info.

wiper motor

hello, the dealer fixed the problem under my warranty. they replaced the entire motor assembly. a good feeling came over me when the cashier said " no charge " . see you later. bill

Help!... my wipers won't turn off. Sometimes they'll turn off for about half a minute... then back on they go...

Which fuse can I pull for the drive to the shop?

What should I pay to get this fixed? Any service bulletins?

Well.... it cost me $342 before taxes to repair my windshield wipers at the local Chevy dealership.

Motor $229.84, $105.00 labor, $7 for "shop supplies".

They also charged me $35 to "check code reset system" because I pulled the wrong fuse in an attempt to stop the wipers for the drive to the shop.

Then $26 in taxes on the whole repair. Sounded a bit high to me.

Terry - man - I still can't get over all of that expense to simply stop the wipers..

Told a few folks about it on the way back from New Orleans..
unreal!

Getting my breathless ram air box installed tomorrow and calling wheel masters about my dinged HREs.. sigh.. its only MONEY - we can always make more. HAHHA!
