:) HAPPY NEW YEAR YEAR TO ALL, HOPING 2008 IS A GOOD CALLAWAY YEAR FOR EVERYONE.
ANYONE HAVE A SUGGESTION ON HOW TO DRAIN AND REFILL THE ENGINE COOLANT ON A 89TT ? ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL PROCEDURES FOR THE CALLAWAYS AND SHOULD THE THERMOSTAT ALSO BE CHANGED . ALSO WHAT IS THE CORRECT ANTI-FREEZE TO USE. WITH THE LOUSY WEATHER HERE IN THE NORTHEAST IF I CAN'T DRIVE IT I MIGHT AS WELL WORK ON IT

I took my externat thermostat off and replaced the hose assy. w/ traditional ones. Also relocated the thermostat into the housing w/ a 1/8" bleed hole in the thremostat.

I used regular coolant, as that is what our cars were designed for.

As you know with any 89 or eariler car, the key is to ensure no air (bubbles) gets trapped in the system. This may cause a low coolant light to come on.
