wiper door problems

I have a small problem...the wiper door will not open

You can open the door with the override switch and everything works. If you try to use the wiper sw. the door just sits there. once the door is opened with the override, you can operate the wipers--turn off the wiper sw and the door closes....

Everything has been replaced..wiper switch, limit switch, vacuum hoses and etc.. The only thing that hasn't been replaced is the relay under the dash..it appears to be working correctly..

Is there something I'm missing....?????

You might want to check the connection at the wiper switch. Sometimes the ground gets lost and nothing will happen. This happens sometimes when the center gauge console gets broken at the top, which most of these cars it does happen to.
