I'll start at the beginning. I had mice in my '86 Vette. All of a sudden, my wipers won't cycle properly at all, and my power antenna moves up and down in sync with my wipers going crazy. What could it be? I have tried resetting the computer. No luck. Something shorting, bad ground? Any help most appreciated, as always.

just a guess, but the easiest guess is that some of your "visitors" decided to utilize some of the wiring insulation for their nests and you have a common wire (to both the wipers and the power antenna) probably a switched hot lead, that is being grounded when you apply power throught the wiper switch activation. if you have a wiring diagram, see if you can't trace leads from both devices to a common location, relay, or connection point. i'm certain that someone much more qualified that i am will be able to give you a bit better indication of where to look.

Yeah, I got a wiring diagram and will peruse it tommorow. A bad ground can do this also according to a couple of mechanics in my home town.
