I have to change the wiper switch in my 86 coupe its in the door panel and was just wondering if there is a trick to getting it out.Do i have to take the whole door panel off ? or just the part where the door handle is,,,easy or hard,, thanks guys,,,or girls

You hae to take the whole panel off...Once you do that its a piece of cake :)

Are you sure it's the switch. Big problem is usually the park switch located in the wiper motor assembly. Mine was bad and I did not have low speed and the wopers would not park. they stopped in the middle of the windshield and finally in a few minutes after turning off the switch, parked.

ok ...ok... you were right it rained today and it is still not working right guess ill have to change the other part thanks

If you turn on hte wipers, and they are not working properly, try wiggling the connector on the wiper motor. If they begin to work, it's probably the park switch. It's the connector with three wires on the drivers side of the motor.
