wiring harness for a remote CD changer

Does anyone know if a 2001 coupe came pre-wired with a factory wiring harness for a remote CD changer (there was no factory changer), or do you need to add one if you add a changer?

It will probably be only to the passenger toe board, then it terminates where you add the wiring harness that goes to the rear cargo area.

The wiring harness will have to be purchased seperately.Prices varied from around $60 to $100. I found a GM wiring diagram on the net and it showed how to run the wiring harness. The carpet panel across the trunk and most of the trim on the passengers side must be removed to route the harness. The harness plugs in to the fuse pane located under the passengers floorboard. It didn't look to difficult, just time consuming. G M decided if you didn't order the trunk C D player you don't get a wiring harness. After reviewing the diagrams and the work involved, I decided against it.

Thanks to all that have answered. I ordered the wiring harness, but have not received it yet. I will post a message to let everyone know how it goes.
