wiring harnesses

Does anyone know a quality source for wiring harnesses. My father purchased a '91 Vette that has some fire damage. We're interested in getting all of the underhood harnesses and possibly some of the dash wiring.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jeff,

The best way to tackle this will be buy getting one off another car. The problem/trick is that you need to get one from a car with the same options built in the same production run. There were so many changes in those year models that you could run into real problems just getting one that is close to the original.


How bad is it damaged? Is it possible to get a schematic and solder in new wires?

Yeah, repairing the existing harness is an option. We're just getting started on this project (drug the car to my shop on Saturday). I know that we don't have all the underhood wiring so I wanted to put out some feelers for replacements.
