All the time I've been reading / contemplating the wonderbar upgrade I thought that removal would be a real pig as I thought you had to remove the factory crossmember. I was reading about you guys who have removed your original thinking "how the hell did they do that?"
Anyway with my car came a load of brochures & literature and in one of them was a "twin turbo upgrade" for early Callaway owners, which consisted of new turbos, downpipes, hoses, oil pan, and upgraded wonderbar and I just noticed the wonderbar in the photo I have shows bolt holes at each end.
That got me thinking - does the wonderbar just bolt in? Admittedly, it looks like a bit of a job to remove but previously I was thinking you had to cut the old one out and weld a new one in (stupid, eh?)
Any comments from owners who have removed their wonderbars?
