I have a 81 with a fresh rebuild with about 3000 miles on it. It has a hypertech chip, performance distributor and module, new 8mm wires. The car has been running fine. I even had it dynoed and pulled 366 hp @ 385 ft lbs of torque. My problem is that all of a sudden it won't start. I have replaced the iginition switch and had no luck. I have hooked up a timing light and there is no spark.
I have cleaned all of the wire harness and put dielectric grease in them and it fired and ran for about an hour. Now it won't start again. I have read all of the threads and saw someone else had a problem starting and the suggestion was the torque converter switch. Does anyone have any thoughts?
