wow, saw lots of Calloways over the weekend

Our corvette club meet up and went to another clubs show on Sunday than met up with Lance Miller (Chip Miller's son) and Lance gave us a Tour of the Miller Corvette collection.
Got to see a total of four Calloways that day.

1. an '87 B2K Twin Turbo owned by the president of our Vette Club (the #3 B2K for '87)

2. Lance's C6 Calloway Super Natural

3. A Calloway Twin Turbo race car from the Miller collection (forget what year it was but it was a C4).
It's funny, Lance mentioned that this car was incredibly fast but it managed blew up the motor in every single race it was in.

4. A Calloway speedster from the Miller collection that Chip Miller bought for his 50th b-day.

An awesome day overall with a LOT of incredible cars but with four Calloways in one day I thought that was even cooler.

Sounds like you had a very nice day! Very nice Lance was willing to show there collection to you guys. Looks like they have a pretty rare combination of Callaways.

Ow, next time please use a A instead of a O in Callaway .

Sorry about the spelling on Callaway. I KNOW it's an "A" but for some reason whenever I try to type the name my finger always goes to an "O". Must be a mental block.

Very cool indeed - The Miller Family Collection was featured in depth a couple months ago in Corvette Enthusiast Magazine with a six-page feature, doccumenting each Corvette in the collection :cool

Yep, we all had a GREAT time!

i'm well aware of the article in CE and even got permission from CE to rerun the article in our clubs newsletter to get everyone excited about the tour

Thanks for the link, i'll have to read up on those particular cars. I've seen Lance's black C6 Callaway (wow, I spelled it right for a change ) at many shows i've run into him at last year but it would be nice to learn more about that car and the others.
I'm a big Callaway fan but don't know too much about them other than they are awesome performing and really cool looking. Hey, what more do you need to know that THAT anyway!
