WTB 68-73 Project NE Indiana Under $7500

Hey guys, Im looking for a 68-72 possibly a 73 running project car. Something I can drive a little and work on at the same time.

DOES NOT have to be a numbers matching car

DOES NOT have to have nice paint or interior

DOES NOT have to be stock (fender flares , etc, okay)

A solid frame and mostly there, drivable.

My budget is low, so I hope I can find something under $7500. ( I bought a 68 L79 #s matching a year agao for $8500) so I would think I could find a project in that range.

Hey Kursed,

would you consider paying a little bit more, but getting more of a car? Although, I have a 77, not the year you are looking for.

My car only needs some tweaking, and some cosmetics. (paint, interior dye, new soft-top) The rear suspension is all new and/or professionally rebuilt. The Hooker sidepipes sound and look great.

Unfortunately, I'm in Louisiana, not Indiana.

Hello VMROD, unfortunatly I really dont have much cash right now. I just started my own business but after selling my 68 Ive gotten the bug to get another. Spending a little more and than shipping costs of your car would be out of my range.

Im dig'n the look of your car though. Are those true headers-to-sidepipe exhaust or run throught the exhaust manifolds?

They are true Hooker sidepipes. No manifolds. The pipes come out of the engine and collect right at the side of the car. These pipes, along with the Dart 2 heads, really allow the engine to breathe.

I'm sure you will find another vehicle in your area and price range. Just be patient. I'm taking my time selling my car as well. I know it is worth the price, but it will take time for someone that is looking for a car like this one. That's OK though, cuz it will give me time to keep tinkering with it. I may end up getting the last bugs out of it, before I sell it!
