WTB - C5 in Minnesota

Hello Guys/Gals,

First time poster, have been lurking for a while and reading the posts. I must say, there is a good community here. I enjoy alot of different cars, but have always wanted a vette since I can remember.

I have been actively looking for a C5 about the last month now.

I am going to be looking at a couple this weekend and I also know have some friends that work at dealers that are going to look for me also.

Not totally set on what style yet, depends on the car, but choices in color in order are Mill Yellow, Black than silver. I want a manual 6 and as many options as I can get. Low mileage is also important to me.

Body styles would be Convert or Coupe with removable top than FRC.

I want to stay in the range of $22k. I have all financing lined up, just looking for the right car.

Anyone in MN have anything?

What is the going price on:

2000 Coupe, Mill Yellow, 6 speed with Glass top, Black leather int and has all options? slight scuff under front nose and glass top has some scratches. It will also need new tires.

As I look at used vettes, is there anything I should watch for and make sure to inspect? never owned one.

Hi there and welcome aboard. I'm not sure how I missed your post earlier; it must have flown in under the radar over here in the FS/WTB section.

So, how did the search go last weekend?
I honestly haven't shopped for a used C5, so I don't know what is a good price or what to look for. Have you dug around in the C5 section for tips? It seems like I've seen some posts in the past about things to look for.

Picked one up last thursday and spent 7 hours detailing it this weekend, it looked new but I like to do it anyways.
