So this weekend, my old serpentine belt lost a strand. While I'm relieved to see that that's all that was going on, I was a little put off by first buying a replacement from autozone ($14) then discovering that since it didn't have grooves on both sides- it wasn't right. Then discovering that I may be forced to get a part from the Chevy Dealer. And Finally discovering that it's $60 from the dealer. I guess the last part shouldn't be surprising, really. However- as my current belt is holding up at the moment (minus one strand) and I'm mostly riding the motorcycle this week- I'd prefer to not get taken at the chevy dealer and find a more reasonable price online somewhere. I can wait a couple of days for it to arrive. Any ideas?
Thanks!

The Last Detail has real GM parts at a good price.
You can get a quality belt at a lot of places. NAPA anyway.
I think the last one I got was $40 something.
Put the old one in the storage bin for an emergency.
