...just installed 'em tonite on our SNAT - car seems to "track" way straighter under acceleration - Upon "launch", the car seems to plant batter as well - anyone else have 'em??

Were they an easy install? I have 'em, but I have 'em in an envelope in the garage, not on the car. I figured I'd tackle it whenever I get a different exhaust system.

the time to do it Bob, is when you have the exhaust off the car.

Since the SNAT is a convertible, I first raised the car on the rack and removed the bolts for the factory X Brace

then, lowered the car, slid the x brace out, re-racked the car and lifted again.

Removed the exhaust from the cats back, and then did the beam plates, one end at a time -

Here's the kicker - My wife dropped by the shop and somehow, I was able to CONvince her to hold up the cat-back exhaust while I re-fit it onto the car :eek :ugh

Overall, it wan't a bad job - being a convertible, it took 3 times longer than it should have...

Callaway put them in 1991-001 and they are great....thanks to Callaway4Fun for the advice to buy them :upthumbs

I have them in and also a zfdoc short throw stock shifter that is amazing . What a short throw and feels great ripping through the gears.

Worth evey penny for sure!

It is hard to believe that four little pieces of metal could do so much good :eek

I know our SNAT wasn't driven *lightly* before so this certainly tighens up the driveline which may have *loosened up* a bit over years of acceleration :upthumbs

If you need more info on these, check out www.zfdoc.com :v

Had them installed on my ZR1. They made a huge difference.

...two things I noticed tonight while driving the car -

First, it chirped, going into 4th gear, WOT! :eek - something it has never done before :lou

Second, it kicked the ASR on more than it ever has - I had to turn it off after each time I stopped - It was quite intrusive

With that in mind, I do believe that more of the power is being transfered & planted thought the driveline - less chassis deflection on acceleration - I suppose the car "gave" a bit more witht he bolts installed alone w/ out the plates as it was before.

Seems to be a good deal :upthumbs
