I borrowed some of my son's "Turtle wax color restorer" with a "coloring stick" that came with it.;LOL
I had some deep scratches you could see from about 3 feet away. I followed the instructions using the color stick first, then waxed over it and I was shocked. I could hardly see the deep scratches from 12 inches away and the rest of the car looked like new! Who would have believed Turtle wax could do such a good job?:D I have been reading posts of how good some waxes are, and just thought I would let y'all know.

What's so funny? I think it's great that that system worked for you. I've used similiar color sticks for little chips and they work well

Exactly!

(Now quit it before someone at turtle wax reads this thread and raises the price! :D)

I have a Turtle wax car care kit, and I like it. It's not the greatest, but I'd definately say above average. Not to mention, waaaay cheaper then some.
If you like it, that's what counts.

My neighbor used the red turtle wax on his burgandy 77. I was very inpressed on how it worked. When i get a stone chip i think i will try some of the black wax they offer.

The black worked great for me. I am just suprised because for years I have only used carnuba waxes. Last time I used Turtle wax I almost never got it off. Man they have really improved it!:upthumbs

Turtle wax is one of the best kept secrets...
Use one of those 'Miracle Towels' and the shine is great.

Ok...I'll do it...;LOL ;LOL ;LOL

Hold up now folks. Let me be more specific. Use the Turtle Wax Car wash with the Miracle Towel and THEEEN use the other kits. The water is soft in Mississippi, so it beads up nicely for drying-no water spots. Now use the color restorer and color stick--no fuss, no muss.
If I'm in the mood. I then will use Eagle One's WET Wipe&Shine. Personally, I prefer it over their WAX As-U-Dry.

Try it once and see if you like it.
