Here it is again. I had posted this listing on another thread here but it was too far down the posts to be noticed I guess. So, here it is again under its own heading.

Someone is going to be very happy with this low miles Corvette when they buy it. Its been very well taken care of and it shows!! Check it out. Excellent shape. Original factory equipment. Stored for many years on a Chevy dealers showroom. Dont let this one get away!!

(I need a daily driver thats why its for sale. I cant have both the wife says. :cry)

Thanks Oliver. I am getting alot of interest and hopefully it will be sold soon. Man, am I going to kick myself in a few months. But the basic thing is I need another type of vehicle. This Corvette is a classic and needs to be in the hands of a guy who will appreciate it and NOT need it as a driver.

I am asking $12,999. (OK, so some of you guys are thinking $12,999!!! Whats he smoking? Thats OK with me.)

This is one of the nicest 79's that you can find. I looked high and low and found this baby after months of looking. I did the research and found out all that I could about this market and believe that this original 29,000 mile car is worth ever penny of my asking price. Will I take less? Yes, but not much less. Corvette sales specialist guys would ask in the high $14's to $15's for this rare car...........

Too bad it isn't working out having the '79. I remember how excited you were when you were on the this board looking for "your car!"

I can only imagine how difficult it is or would be having an old Corvette as a "daily driver". Mine is in the shop having some engine work done after a long weekend where I put 600 miles on the car and it developed some new sounds?

I know some people have no trouble as a "daily driver" and also being located in a warm climate certainly helps. I am constantly working on mine just to keep it as a "Sunday Afternoon Driver" and that is Summertime only too.

Well good luck, and the '79 looks great you shouldn't have any problems of selling it.

Well folks, I sold it. Yup, its going to a nice home in Amarillo, Texas. I will surely, surely, surely miss this fine speciman of a 1979 C-3 Corvette. I do have lots of pictures that I am sure I will view on a regular basis. My god, It only had 29,000 miles............geesh!

This was the nicest car that I have ever owned. Its condition was a 9+ on a scale of 10. But if you do not have the life style to appreciate this kind of car its better off in the hands of an owner that can display and use this car to its fillest potential. I was just an owner and could not put this car into the situation that it deserved. As I mentioned before, I bought a car nicer than I needed!

So, the search goes on. If anybody has a nice 97/98 Tahoe, Yukon that they need to sell I am a buyer. Of course I need a nice vehicle and price is a consideration.

I'll be a regular lurker to this site if you'll let me!!

Glad to hear you got your car sold. Also good to hear that it will be well taken care off like you did. Are you happy with the selling price?

With the car being in Amarillo, Texas that is near to me just the next state over and maybe I will see it around at some of the Car Shows or NCRS Events?
