He's lucky they didn't prosecute. Funny story - I hit a concrete barrier about 100 feet from where he hit. It was a track event on the infield course, and the morning was cool, the tires were cool, and I wasn't. I backed into the barrier at the exit of a fast sweeping turn. The back kicked out, and I was a passenger. It took out a rear fender and the entire rear valance. I still got off cheap, AND learned yet another hard lesson. I didn't turn it into USAA.
