you know Bob, I noticed that about 2 weeks ago in that same pic of you driving down the road but figured it must have been the angle of the pic and even if it wasn't I wasn't about to criticise anything at all about that particular car

Yes I noticed. But who gives a hoot. My mufflers are wrong, my bumpers are repro and were not supposed to fit according to experts, the paint is too glossy, the rear valence is ACI, the exhaust bezels are repro, and my exhaust tips are too long (to keep exhaust fumes off the new bumpers). I, like you, do things my way. Most bright pieces were replaced last winter with the paint job. If this car were to be judged I would be ... asked to leave quickly. At most shows I do not even register.

BTW, as an afterthought. That pic shows how 6" AR Torq Thrust II wheels with Pirelli P4000 215-70ZR/15 tires fit in the wheel well. This is usually a popular topic. One of Duke Williams' favourites.

My thoughts exactly :L With the wider fenders which most don't notice anyway its amazing the bumpers fit at all If you want my $.02 put some AC in it and be done with it. Drive the wheels off it this summer and then worry about the bumper fit after the snow flies

I don't submit the car to judges............other than myself. The CruiseFest contest entry was a momentary weakness.

Besides, the judges were regular Corvette owners like me.

Took me a long time to notice it too, Boss. But once I did notice, it's like walking out of the men's room with toilet paper dragging from your shoe. That ain't :cool

The cuts in the nose paint I can excuse.........InterState battle scars.

But wrong angle on the bumpers? No way.
