Zaino?

You were very close with that presumption NC 50anny! I used Zaino for many years on various cars. I guess I tried most of them over time, Johnson's Kit wax, Liquid Glass, Zaino, Black Magic Body Wet, Pinnacle Soveran, etc. But recently tried this Turtle Wax liquid and I was blown away with it's luster. I actually did the trunk lid first, in four equally sized sections from left to right. I used Zaino, Soveran, Black Magic and Ultra Gloss. The Ultra Gloss wasn't just marginally better, on the Millennium Yellow, at least, it was deeper, richer and glossier by far. I then went over the whole lid and the balance of the car and it shines like a new penny. I was really impressed. :cool

Thank you BV, for the BD wishes. I spent it on the road all day and NOT in the Vette. The Turtle Wax Platinum Series Ultra Gloss comes in paste or liquid (sqeeze bottle) form. Hope it works equally as well for you as it does for moi!

He is missing today. Maybe he locked his keys in his Z16 and got lost!!!!

In the meantime, I got express turtle wax spray on and will use it to wax now as it needs SOMETHING real bad!!!!!!!

Hi Barry, thank you sir! On these latest photos, you see the result of Turtle Wax's new Platinum Series Ultra Gloss. I have been using the liquid form and it goes on easy and comes off exceptionally easy. The result is a hard finish that reflects much better than anything else I've used to date. All accessory car places have it, give it a try.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I WISH the Z06 was in convertible form. I was originally purchasing a convertible but when I felt the power of the Z06 and saw that they were a unique vette I had to take that one!!!!!!!

I guess I can always get a 68 roadster!!!!!

But yeah, it would be nice to have the top down. But I LOVE the looks I get in it. At every local cruise in it gets eyeballed on!!!!! On the road I get eyeballed!!!!

The convertible, although very nice, just doesn't have the uniqueness and power and torque I desire. I guess I could have modded it, but it was nice to have the real deal.

I was told not to wax it until 6 months old to make sure the clear coat finishes properly.

Now it is so shiny I can brush my hair in the hood! Looks like a mirror!

I took this photo at the 50th anniversary of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 2000. This car was part of the past, "Best of Show" winners. In fact, it won Best of Show there in 1997. It is a very rare 1937 Talbot-Lago (pronounced, Tal Bow La Go) T-150 Figoni et Falaschi Coupé.

This has been one of my faves for a long time, I shot it also at the 2000 Concours. It is a 1935 Mercedes-Benz 500-K Special Roadster, the Z06 of its day.
