Hi TBV -

Here is a picture I took in Lexington Illinois - it was at thier annual celebration of the old route 66 - they took all of our information, and then seemingly the whole town's population lined the main drag and watched as we paraded by. There was an announcer who narrated your name and brief info about your car. Very cool -

there is a lot going on in this pic...

There are so many things that can be captured on camera while driving your Z06. I always keep my cam handy and often take snapshops of interesting things. So why not share those photos here? If anyone has interesting shots while driving your Z06 or just has something cool to show us let us see it!

I was at the dealership today and saw these!!!!!!! Z06 CE and a SS-R!!!!
How about interesting AND cool? I snapped this at the last Corvette Expo in Knoxville, TN. Talk about a radical custom!

Ha - thanks - I wouldn't go that far...but thanks!

I have a Sony DSC-F707 5MP - I have had it for a couple of years now.

It's not a bad way to go for the "hard-core casual" photographer.

OK - I don't have any aircraft pics - although I live near an airport.

I do have a couple of bridge pictures....

Where is this bridge at?
I think I have see this before?

Is it in Deleware or Virgina? Gosh it looks familiar!
Definitely seen it, or one just like it!

Great photos by the way!

Hi TBV -

I apologize - should have supplied that little tidbit in the picture post...

It is the new sunshine skyway across Tampa Bay. I go that way when I drive down to Anna Maria.

One of the scariest bridges to cross. It is like a roller coaster; as you approach the summit, you can't see down the other side. I lived in the Tampa Bay area back when it was hit and had to be rebuilt. Trip down memory lane:

Oh yeah!!!!!

And yes, Z_OH_6 I too remember when that bridge was struck!

Wow! that was awhile ago!

What a BRIDGE

Wow that scared me! Bridges give me the chills!!!!!!!!! I like the bridge pics, ive heard of long bridges around New Orleans and the bridges in Florida too. But wow does that bridge go straight up like that? wonder why?? to let the Big ships under it? Just love seeing sights like that, At night time i hate crossing bridges and everytime i go across the mighty Mississippi, I HAUL BUTT like there's NO tomorrow across that at night when traveling. I remember my last trip driving up to New York and going across a tall bridge around the Pittsburgh area, YIKES...

Here in Texas we dont have the bridges unless you go down around the coastal area, but im from St. Louis and i remember those bridges well.

Thanks for the GREAT pics guys.. keep them coming.. i wonder tho does this hurt the site any with so many pics? always wondered.

thanks Tony

I would bet the picture was taken with a long lens. The result is that it shortens the perspective and steepens the hill.

I don't see this too often!

There are not too many of these around. But, what an interesting car!

Saw this one while I was parking.

Cows!!!! Didn't think of that one!!!!! LOL

Great one!!!!!

I sure would not want to meet up with a cow in my Z06, it would tear it apart!

Not to knock your picture, Imachad, but I just recently dusted off my copy of "Twister" and watched it again. Your photo of cows would be far more dramatic if they airborne and experiencing a free ride courtesy of an F1.

Now that is funny!!!!

I'll keep my eye out for some High Flyin' Bovine! :L

wow, cool thread.

I don't usually drive and take photos at the same time, but this thread is starting to inspire me.

Just the other day I saw a red "z06" with a HUGE, ugly, black metal wing on the back. I swear the wing was almost as high as the roofline. Just as I was marveling at the horror of it, he went by and then I noticed his exhaust tips... it was NOT a z06, despite the presence of rear brake vents (real or just stuck on, I have no idea). It was at that point that I decided that I simply MUST carry the digital cam with me at all times for these precious moments. :L

I had a bridge z06 spycam pic, but no vettes in it. So how about this, taken at Carlisle:
